| Summary | The Opportunity: Valley Water District has an immediate opening for a Water Utility Worker I or II. The District is seeking a knowledgeable, motivated individual to be part of a team whose goal is to provide safe and quality installation, repairs, and preventive maintenance to the District’s water systems. The District: Valley Water District (VWD) is a municipal corporation formed pursuant to and regulated by Washington State statutes, specifically Title 57 RCW. Valley Water District strives to provide its customers with clean, safe, reliable water service that meets or exceeds all water quality standards, maintaining policies and practices that benefit the health and welfare of the community. Formed in 1993, the District currently owns and operates 8 non-contiguous water systems that total approximately 3,200 connections. The Details: Job Title: Water Utility Worker I or II Responsible To: Operations Manager Starting Salary: $25-$30/hr DOE (Water Utility Worker I) Starting Salary: $34-$42/hr DOE (Water Utility Worker II) FLSA Classification: Full-Time, Permanent, Non-Exempt Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm Opening Date: Immediately Closing Date: Open until filled, Applications & Resumes will be reviewed as received.
