Alderwood Watermain Replacement Project

Initial Water Shutdown scheduled for September 17th 8am - 3:30pm

Notices have been sent out to the customers that will be affected by this shutdown on September 17th from 8am - 3:30pm.

Water will be off for the affected customers for much of that time.  Once the water is restored, the crew will be flushing to clear the air and discolored water from all pipelines.  Customers should refrain from using water until all flushing has been completed to limit bringing sediment into their household plumbing.

Alderwood First Notice for Water Shutdown

A second shutdown with a similar timeframe will be necessary and will affect the same customers.  The date is still to be determined.  The District will provide 48 hours notice prior to the second shutdown.

Emergency Watermain Repair 

Valley Water District has an Emergency Watermain repair on 145th St E  between 122nd Ave  E and 125th Ave E and has to shut off water for several customers.  The crew is on site working as quickly as possible to repair the water main and the water is expected to be restored today.  Thank you for your patience.
