Valley System - Fire 6/2/23 - Flushing

A fire in the Valley System on Pioneer Way East created high flows which caused discolored water.  District staff responded and immediately, isolated some valves to minimize the impact, and started flushing early last night (6/2).  Staff left the flush running overnight to assist in clearing any discolored water.  

If you have discolored water please flush your outside hosebib for 3-5 minutes or until the water runs clear, then flush whatever sink or fixture had the dirty water until it runs clear.  If the water does not run clear after 5 minutes please contact the District at 253-841-9698.
