POSITION SUMMARY AND SCOPE OF RESONSIBILITY

Valley Water District is looking for a dedicated, hard-working individual to join our team as a Full Time Water Maintenance Technician. Valley Water offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, PERS retirement and a great work environment.

Full time position involving all aspects of water system construction, operation, and maintenance.  Candidate should possess basic math skills, a familiarity with computers, ability to use hand & power tools, and sufficient skills and/or education to work safely with mechanical and electrical devices and systems.  Ability to operate heavy equipment is a plus.  Water and/or underground utility construction experience is preferred but not required.  

Valid Washington State Driver's License and acceptable driving record required.  Prior to hiring, a Criminal History Background Check will be conducted.
